ACM/SIGAPL is pleased to announce that APL2001, the annual international conference on APL and other array programming languages, such as A, A+, J, K, Matlab, Mathematica, Nial, and S-Plus, will be held June 25-28, 2001.
Some of the interesting things I spotted on the web site:
- A paper on combining array-processing and object-oriented programming and a paper on correctly detecting intrinsic type errors in typeless languages such as MATLAB.
- A tutorial on A+.
- Paul Hudak, of Haskell fame will be among the speakers at the conference.
