Alas, he uses a term we (Ehud's students) have been stronly discouraged from using -- "Strongly Typed".

Since I'm not one of Ehud's students... why have you been discouraged from using the term "strongly typed"?

See Shriram Krishnamurthi's book. He says it better than I can. It's at the end of the chapter about safety, soundness etc.
