About a year ago I first became aware of
aspect oriented programming at Xerox, but when I read some of their papers I didn't really understand what was happening.
Now it turns out that there is an on-line
book on
adaptive programming which
seems to be related. Hopefully this will sort out my confusion (although the
conditions for downloading suggest someone else is confused too, as it appears to be illegal for your pdf viewer to cache it on disk...).
Incidentally, I arrived at this link via the Demeter/Java language via the
JVM language list.
