A useful overview of DotGNU and .Net in general. Of special interest is the dicussion of the Portable.Net project building a runtime engine, a C# compiler, and the C# system library. At the end of 2001, Portable.NET had reached the stage of being
able to run simple example programs, and even a few complex ones
such as the "Curse of Frogger" video game.
Also discusses web services, XML-RPC etc.
(And don't forget Mono).
