Thought I'd pass on a couple of useful links for scripting for Windows apps. The above link is about the best collection of Windows related scripts that I've found. Not in the league of CPAN (Perl), but there are a number of useful Windows scripts.
If you need to look at the programming languages, the VBScript and JScript sites from MS provide a good reference. Also, the Netscape JavaScript site is a must for anyone using browser scripting.
