Has anyone ever heard of an open source visual programming environment, i.e. a programming language where you lay out a program by using icons that represent the atomic actions in your language (something like LabView (http://volt.ni.com/niwc/common.jsp?page=labview_overview) or the language in RoboForge (http://www.roboforge.net))? If so, let me know. This kind of relates to the periodic discussions we have on LtU about end-user computing.

I suppose that some of Wouter van Oortmerssen's programming languages count, but they haven't been well-supported to say the least.

It's a fun link, though. Thanks!
