Some on the key points are that in 2
weeks a committee will be announced to manage the creation of a new
Scheme standard, possibly named R6RS.

Just read the well-shaped macros paper. It's worth your time too!
Before we go into details, don't others think that explicitly typed macros in a latently typed language are, well, kind of funny?
