Norvig (again), explaining what Adaptive Software is. We've covered this topic before, but I don't think I've seen a simple explanation like this.
In the second MIT talk someone characterised Adaptive programming as using "comeFrom" rather than "goto" - but I'm not sure if that's a help or not.
