Links in long topics don't work

I tried to post a link to my posting:

http://lambda-the-ultimate.org/node/4655#comment-74144

but it just posts a link to the first page of a 2-page discussion and doesn't connect to my posting. Seems broken.

If you know what the right page is, you can add GET parameters to the link as appropriate, like: 

lambda-the-ultimate.org/node/4655?from=200&comments_per_page=200#comment-74144

Then it should work properly (assuming that the placement of comments does not change too much). This is a bigger problem on the recent posts page.

That's a decent work-around

If you click on a link on the recent posts page and it doesn't take you to the right place (because the post you want is on the second page), edit the URL and insert "?comments_per_page=5000". Then it takes you to the right place.
