Went to undergrad for CS. Worked in the storage industry doing kernel development, now in security working on statistical analysis of network-level threats.

Play around with haskell/ocaml, worked through real world haskell, mostly use C, R, and python at work (and in that order).

- Strictly typed languages. I've drunk the kool aid so to speak
- Kernel-level higher order language work
- Security, exploits
- Statistics
- Archlinux
- PL Research, functional research.. etc. It's a very exciting and fun area to me.
