Lambda the Ultimate

I'm a software developer. I graduated with a CS degree from Cal Poly Pomona in 1993 and have been working full time since then. I've started with Ada (ack), then moved to C/C++ stuff, mostly on Windows, then joined the Java fray. I did a two year stint in there as a manager too.

Almost from the beginning I've thought: there has to be an easier way. We keep getting trapped by the same problems. I started reading Paul Graham's site around 2001 or so and have curious if some variation of Lisp is the path to coding Nirvana.
