Developed Lisp machine software at MIT 1976-1979. Co-founder of Symbolics Inc, 1980-1988. Co-designer of Common Lisp. Co-founder of Object Design, later eXcelon, now the ObjectStore division of Progress Software, 1988-2002. Currently at ITA Software (Cambridge, MA) with a huge team developing a new airline reservation system, initially for Air Canada. The core is in Common Lisp, and we believe we have more Common Lisp programmers than any other company or group anywhere in the world.
