Daniel P. Friedman

Personal information

Very short biography: I entered the field of computer programming in
the spring of 1964. I write (with others) "Little" Books. The rest can be gleaned from my webpage. When I retire (if I retire), I will
spend some time trying to make my webpage spiffy. For now, it is low
priority.

In order of importance:

Family and friends, teaching programming languages and writing books about what I teach, research in programing languages and writing papers about new ideas or new perspectives on
old ideas, especially lately logic programming languages, movies, and mostly (nonfiction) books.
